Elizabeth Triggs, M.D.

Dr. Triggs received her bachelor's degree from University of North Carolina in 1977. She received her degree in medicine from the University of Mississippi, and completed an internship and residency at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She completed a Fellowship in Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics in 1985, also at Vanderbilt.

She is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Triggs is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Clinical Faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital

She joined Green Hills Pediatrics in 1985. Dr. Triggs and her husband, Austin, have two children.

Michael D. Ladd, M.D.

Dr. Ladd graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Duke University in 1988. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Ladd completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt in 1995.

Dr. Ladd is board certified in pediatrics. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Clinical Faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

He joined Green Hills Pediatrics in July of 1995. He and his wife have 3 sons. His interests outside the office are music and spending time with his family.
Dr. Ladd serves on the Green Hills YMCA Board of Directors.

Travis Walters, M.D.

Dr. Walters was born in Birmingham, AL. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree from Vanderbilt University in 1995 and was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Medical Degree from Vanderbilt in 1999 and completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt in June 2002.

He is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Clinical Faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and takes an active role in the education of the pediatric residents.

Dr. Walters joined Green Hills Pediatric Associates in July 2002. His interests outside the office include golfing, being an active member of his church, and spending time with his family. He also volunteers at the Nashville Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. He and his wife Rebecca have two daughters.

James Godfrey, M.D.

Dr. Godfrey was born in Maryville, TN and grew up in Smyrna, TN. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree from University of Tennessee Martin in 1997. He received his Medical Degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Godfrey completed his pediatric residency at The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA in June of 2004.

He is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Clinical Faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Dr. Godfrey joined Green Hills Pediatric Associates in 2004. His areas of interest include allergy/immunology and dermatology.

Dr. Godfrey is married with two sons and one daughter. His interests outside the office are biking, computers/electronics, and spending time with his family.

Alicia Ewing, M.D.

Dr. Ewing was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University in 2000 followed by her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2004. She then completed her residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt. During her residency, she received the Robert C. Boerth Award as intern of the year.

Dr. Ewing is board certified in pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the clinical faculty at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

She joined Green Hills Pediatrics in 2007. When not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. Dr. Ewing and her husband, Gideon, have one daughter and are members of Hillsboro Church of Christ.
